I love Led Zeppelin they are truly certified rock gods. Dazed and Confused is my favorite song by them and just watching that performance shocked me. Jimmy page playing his guitar with a violin now is so unexpected but creative I love it!
Classic rock became iconic through cultural shifts and Led Zeppelin was very influential. I like how he is getting recognition for his performances and his talent.
I thought it was interesting how some artist would break what they would use to make the music just for the looks. Also that Led Zeppelin is known as a Rock God with all the great music and preforms that he did.
omg! i loved this sub stack so much! i learned so much, i loved hearing dazed and confused by led zeppelin and a day in the life by the Beatles. rock is one of my favorite genres
I never new how a pedal worked. I'd always seen it used in performances and artists were stepping on it on and off but I never thought about what it does. I also had no idea that breaking a guitar on stage was destructive art. Always thought it was just something rock stars did for fun.
I learned how much Led Zeppelin could influence people and how his skills inspired so many people. The Wah-Wah pedal stood out to me because I enjoyed learning how it changes the sound. This Substack really demonstrates how artists like Jim Morrison weren’t just musicians but also spiritual guides of some sort. I liked reading and learning about how albums were created and how something like a pedal could make music feel more meaningful.
I find it really interesting that rock had evolved in such a way where it was seen more as a way to describe a piece rather than actually being a genre. Something incredibly amazing to see, as now the only thing that truly matters is the musician. The artists have so much creative freedom, allowing them to make incredible pieces of art we can describe as rock. I also didn't know who Led Zeppelin was at first, but I did enjoy learning about how much of a rockstar he was. Overall, really interesting!
I love the whole performance aspect of rock music, even from its early days. I loved watching how not only the music developed and changed, but also the rock artists themselves. They defined part of the rock genre that music itself couldn't do. Like Led Zeppelin and their massive performances, all of it is combined to create modern-day rock.
I love how rock now is seen more as a way to describe music. Its something to show how much thought and deep every sound is. Also I just realized that bands before were performing without pedals. Ive been behind the scenes of performance set ups and there are always so many pedals it must have been so limiting .
"The goal is to loose yourself in the music" is so real. Music can allow for us to disconnect from reality for a second and be at peace. The energy of seeing this music life just adds a spice to someones life. I would have loved to experience this time of music! How far music itself has come really shows the dedication to make music the best experience for listeners.
It was interesting how the image of the rockstar shifted from being just a performer to someone with deep influence and mystique. It highlights how fans began to see rock musicians as voices of truth and rebellion. The piece reflects on how the change shaped the way we connects with music and the people who make it.
It was interesting to read about how the latest technology help make music sound nice and cool.it made more people want to listen too rock and roll. One Technology is called the Wah pedal A sweep effect makes some sounds louder and others quieter by moving up and down through the sound. It helps change how the music sounds.
It’s interesting how rock music changed and started to feel bigger, like more than just songs. Albums became more about ideas than just a bunch of tracks. I also thought it was really interesting how fans were the ones that really helped make some artists feel super important. It shows how much the audience mattered. I wonder, what makes music feel important now compared to back then?
I've learned how influential Led Zeppelin is, his talents and performances were so good that many people get inspired so much. What I found interesting was the Wah-Wah paddle. Its interesting to see how it works and how it can change the way something sound. It was cool to hear about how it was used by many artists. One thing I wonder is who made the Wah-Wah peddle and what inspired the person to make it?
The wah peddle was really interesting to me. The difference the sound makes is really noticeable and makes a big difference in the music. I never knew such a thing even existed this shows that there are so many unseen elements in music.

John Boeman was a cool drummer. It was amazing to me to see how much drummers looked up to him.
