The Beatles band dismantlement showed how important they were to people and how this was a huge shift in rock. I found it interesting how the the white album reflected the bands internal struggles.

I feel the part with yoko stood out to me most. It kind of shows that at some parts of one's life should never interfere with others. When listening to Ob-la-di, ob-la-da. It kind of reminded me of the situation. I'm definitely reaching far to make a connection like this but I think desmond and molly kind of tie into the yoko and john situation. Molly in the song finds desmond and has a family but still plays in the band. It's an entirely different part of her life. Maybe that's what they wanted John to do. That's just surface info i'm going off of though, I could be totally wrong. It's fun to theorize though.

Its so hard to hear how such a big band dismantles. Its even crazier when you can hear it in their music. What if they kept going?

After listening to the White Album and reflecting on the Beatles’ breakup I started to hear the disconnect and loss of passion in that last album. You can hear how they recorded separately.. much of their creativity and parts seemed to be heading in different directions, a result of their separate recording sessions in the studio alone.

What albums from The Beatles do you recommend?

After reading this substack, I came to many conclusions including The Beatles, were a little bit odd. Listening to the White Album, you can subtly hear the lack of emotion and commotion in creating the songs. Next, I was intrigued the whole Substack, as I have listened to some of the songs. What was the main reason for The Beatles' downfall?

Really interesting to see how much the Beatles impacted music, not just from what they made, but from when they disbanded. Their separation caused the rise of solo artists who focused on creating unique music on their own, something that was pretty unheard of before the Beatles had broken up. However this also really did show how prominent internal struggles can be for a band’s health. The death of their manager and the constant creative disputes were what pushed them over the edge, and yet, even many years after they disbanded, they still remain very popular and influential. I do wonder what other genres they would have incorporated into their music had they not disbanded?

One thing I learned from this article is that when the Beatles broke up, it didn’t just end their bandit changed music. After they split, music started to focus more on solo artists and different styles. This connects to me because I listen to all kinds of music today, and I see how artists do their own thing. It shows that sometimes an ending can lead to something new and creative. If the Beatles stayed together would music today sound the same?

It's tragic how the beatles broke up as a band, They were largley important for the new wave of rock and roll that emerged from britain. With the tragic events like the death of their manager, and them becoming to argue more and more due to creative decisions like where to continue their music and yoko ono, it really shows how the band might be to far gone to come back together. In the final years tho they helped create unique progression in the rock and roll scene, with the white album and abbey road, it shows how they were continuing to progress and develop their sound. Even though the beattles have not been together for nearly 60 years, their music is still influential and listen to even in the present day. I wonder how Rock and Roll would have progressed if the beatles had stayed together and continued to make music?

it's crazy how different the Beatles look when comparing the time of the end of their band to the time of when they started out. It's also crazy with the amount of internal issues they were having with each other. It's cool but also sad to know how the white albums reflects the issues they were having. Do bands now days go through these amount of type of struggles?

I can't believe the Beatles wrote so many bangers. It's such a shame that they broke after all they've been through. The white album sounded chaotic and all over the place, but then on Abbey road it sounded like they were working together. They officially broke up April 10th 1970. If they had made another album would it sound all over the place or like they actually liked each other?

The Beatles giving hints as to how they are feeling through their songs just shows how emotions can control what artist produce and release to the public. This shows that connection and environments is important to song writing. The second wave of rock ending when The Beatles broke up must have been so devastating! How did the public react?

What got me interested was how much people were impacted as well as the members of The Beatles whenever one of the members left the band. Not only that, but when they're manager died at the age of 32 things became a lot complicated with many band members fighting and wanting to do their own things. When the band disappeared it impacted the music industry a lot because The Beatles were so influential that without them it affected the rock genre. Would things have been different if they had the right communications as well as their manager?

The intricacies behind the reason the Beatles broke up and the impact it ha on the world was very interesting to think about. They where huge, but that doesn't mean they where exempt from issues. Unfortunately, those issues where enough to kill the band. I can't help but think of, what would happen if the Beatles never broke up?

The Beatles band split up April 1970. The band just seemed not to get along as well as they did when they weren't as known. The band seemed to have a big change in there music from there first few songs compared to there last few.

This made me think about how even strong teams can fall apart without good communication and support. Their fall out seem to be a slow process with a lot of problems building up. They started to fight more, wanted to do their own thing, and didn't have their manager Brian Epstein to keep them together going through unsure emotions. Do you think the Beatles could've stayed together if they had the right communication?

It was interesting the way they broke up and the effect it had on people but they thought they might've been burnt out. This was also a big change for rock since they were so popular and so many people looked up to them. The manager was the one who kept them together and without him the band would struggle and they knew that. I liked how their songs balanced structure and creativity and I think that's one of the reasons other people liked their music.
